US & THE FARM

ABOUT US
Welcome to Country Boys Collective.
We are a West Country based CBD and Hemp company aiming to help create a thriving local industry and community based around this amazing plant, working with local farmers and businesses to put Hemp back on the map.
Products
Country Boys Collective was officially created in 2019 but comes as a by-product of a group of individuals with a passion for CBD & Hemp deciding to collectively grow on our experience and knowledge to create a long-lasting brand. We can see both the economic, environmental and nutritional benefits that widespread use of this plant will have and want to facilitate a greater understanding and use of it going forward that will vastly benefit local communities in the UK. Our vision is to not only succeed as a business, but also to engage in discussion with other like-minded bodies to help progress an industry that we truly believe is an integral part of a sustainable future here in the UK.
All of our products are Lab tested and made in the UK and are 100% naturally grown. One of the things that we, at Country Boys, think is important when you make a decision to buy a product from us is that you know exactly how, where and when it was made and is something we aim to provide you.

Our ethos is not providing just high-quality products, but also knowledge and accessibility to an exciting and forgotten part of our history. We'd love to hear from anyone that wants to learn more, as well as those that think we could work together - please reach out to us!

THE FARM
We work closely with a South West based Hemp farm who organically grow the seed we use for all of our hemp products, so when we say ‘from seed to shelf’ - we really mean it! The farm is similar to us in the sense that we’re both looking towards a sustainable future and are trying to build the local industries and communities around us.
NO DIG FARMING
Both through working with local farmers and communities, as well as our journey to become as sustainable as possible in our operations - we have started to explore and start our own 'No Dig' farm at our HQ.

No-dig farming is a more environmentally friendly, and in some ways more effective, way of growing things. Rather than digging up your soil and removing weeds before planting your vegetables, no-dig farming involves applying organic matter (garden compost for example), to the surface of the soil and essentially emulating the process of decomposition. By doing this you are keeping the soil’s ecosystem intact when allowing the fungi, plants and soil organisms to break down and enter the soil - leaving it undisrupted as opposed to when you are digging it. The method also prevents you from releasing carbon back into the air reduces weeds itself, while often producing larger vegetable yields.

We’re just getting started with no-dig farming - but you can be sure to stay up to date with our efforts on our social channels!

THE GLASSHOUSE

As you already know, we truly believe in sustainability and working in a way that gives back to not just the local communities, but to the planet itself – with that in mind we set up an acre of land with a glasshouse and the space to be able to grow our own produce. Last season we grew chillies and soft fruits, and have put in planter beds while setting up beehives for the coming season – initially to play our part in saving the bee population that’s so important to our planets ecosystem, but with an end goal of being able to provide our customers with local honey.

We like to keep the collective (that’s you guys) informed on what we’re getting up to, so keep an eye out on our site for updates on us and the farm and join us on our journey to a sustainable and eco-friendly future!
